Kelly Generator & Equipment, Inc. Hires Mark Dougherty as Distributed Generation Division Business Lead

Kelly Generator & Equipment, Inc. (KG&E) is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Dougherty to its team as Distributed Generation Division Business Lead.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in sales and business development leading teams across North America. His experience includes a broad base of energy related solutions, including Energy Efficiency/Performance Contracting, central plant redesign and retrofit, renewable energy and distributed energy resources (DERs). Special focus includes integration of numerous DER assets, including Combined Heat/Cooling & Power (CHP/Cogeneration), Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage and Microgrid optimization. Key areas of expertise include optimization of DER assets for ISO/Utility Demand Charge Management and grid/utility program participation, including IoT/connectivity platforms to optimize and automate participation in Demand Response, Energy Arbitrage, Peak Shaving, Frequency Regulation. Mark also as deep experience in deal structuring designed to leverage the combination of structured financial mechanisms and maximized asset monetization.

Mark will be responsible for KG&E’s Siemens Energy division of products including Siemens S Series, H Series, and E Series gaseous engines from 200 kW to 2 MW single sets, with paralleling capabilities to meet much larger requirements, for Power Generation, Cogeneration/CHP, and Waste to Energy applications.
