We offer courses for maintenance personnel, generator technicians, and electrical engineers.
Technicians & Technical Support Courses:
If you're maintenance personnel or a generator technician, then these are the courses for you. If you're looking for something specific, we will design a course to specifically fit your needs.
This is a 8-12 class that will touch on Electrical Fundamentals, Engines, Fundamentals of Generators, Automatic Transfer Switches and the importance of Planned Maintenance.
If you're an engineer looking to increase your generator knowledge while achieving some professional development hours (PDH), you can explore our Professional Development Seminar courses.
Each seminar was designed specifically for practicing engineers who wish to expand their understanding of current technologies, sizing, codes & standards, switching technologies and reliable design characteristics surrounding emergency power systems. If you are a design, sales or consulting engineer, this series is for you. It's a joint effort of the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and Generac Power Systems.
Participants who successfully complete an individual seminar will receive two Professional Development Hours (PDH) accredited by the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Those who complete 5 Professional Development Seminar Series Modules and the final assessments will be awarded one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and/ or 10PDH.
