How frequently am I on call?

There is a rotation of technicians but the average is 1 week a month or less.

Do I have to come to the office/warehouse each day?

Most of our techs are remote and do not report to the office daily.

Where is your service area?

The Mid- Atlantic, DEL, MD, Wash DC, VA, WV, PA but we have customers

outside of those areas.

Where does your training take place?

On the job, in-house, and with our manufacturers.

​

Do you install generators?

No, KGE does not install generators.

​

What services do you provide?

Sales, Service, Parts, Rentals and Training.

What does this position pay?

Commensurate with experience

What industries would you consider hiring from?

We find that field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generator or similar lead to the most success in this role.

Yes, on a case-by-case basis.

There is a written skills assessment and interview for the position.

Yes.
